Tai is Maori, Australian born and always loved challenging myself physically and mentally.

Tai lost his father to cancer at 19 years old and his mother in law recently overcome her battle with breast cancer in 2025, hence why cancer research is so important to him. 

He has loved running since I was young playing sport at a professional level and been running ultra marathons competitively for the last 2 years. Tai has ran ultras in New Zealand, Australia, Spain, UK, Italy, France, Switzerland and Spain, an athlete for Alixr performance hub and an ambassador for Ultra running limited. 

Tai chose to take on this challenge as he thinks it will be painful and enjoys putting himself in these chalenging endeavours. "The pain I may experience throughout this challenge is only 1% of the pain others are born into".
